1. Try to keep your CV short. Three pages or less is preferred. It's not necessary to include every article published.
2. Pick a standard format and be consistent. List experience and education in most recent-first order. Try not to jump around and confuse the reader.
3. Include a cover letter or cover email when you send your CV out. The cover letter can briefly explain your interest in the position and your passion for practicing medicine.
4. Include all the necessary contact information. If the person receiving your CV cannot reach you, it doesn't matter how well you did it. Include email or emails, pager, permanent address, current address, cell phone, and other ways that may be best to contact you.
5. Please spell check your CV and avoid any typos. You send a message about yourself and your attention to detail with the care you take in preparing your CV. |
